The Kernel welcomes its latest columnists
The Kernel’s managing editor introduces our second wave of columnists: correspondents from America, Spain, France and eastern Europe, a developer specialist and writers on social media and science.
As well as the long essays, reports and interviews we publish, The Kernel runs a large volume of guest posts from entrepreneurs, investors and other experts. But we also have a team of monthly columnists who write — sometimes more whimsical — pieces about the technology industry and the people in it.
Currently, Nic Brisbourne, a partner at DFJ Esprit in London, analyses trends in venture capital; director Rob Carter writes on financial matters; novelist Ilana Fox covers media and celebrity culture; Joshua Lachkovic writes on the nexus between technology and politics and serial entrepreneur Andrew J. Scott talks though the lessons he has learned on his start-up journey. And of course there is our digital agony aunt, Daphne, to spice things up with her uniquely British brand of humour.
We promised to reveal our second wave of columnists shortly into the new year. So here they are. Each will contribute to the magazine twelve times a year. Some of their writing appears on the site already; others’ pieces will appear in the coming weeks. We hope you enjoy their writing.
