A Kernel investigation has revealed that Amazon is selling books that defend Holocaust denial, even in countries where Holocaust denial is against the law.
- Both Amazon and Barnes & Noble stock Holocaust denial literature
- Books available even in countries where Holocaust denial is illegal
- News follows revelations about rape, incest and bestiality porn
- Yet again, no comment from Amazon
Amazon silently removed scores of incest, child rape and bestiality e-books from its store when we reported last week the depraved books the online retailer was profiting from. Other retailers took their entire websites offline following our reporting and a front-page story in the Mail on Sunday, with whom we worked closely last week to bring our reporting to a wider audience.
But even more shocking still is the revelation today, following a third Kernel investigation, that Amazon, along with its rival bookstore, Barnes & Noble, are selling vile works of Holocaust denial, even in countries where Holocaust denial is against the law, such as France, Germany and Austria.
To reduce the company’s exposure to tax, Amazon’s European headquarters are in Liechtenstein, where it is also illegal to deny genocide according to section 283 of that country’s criminal code.
In 2009, the German branch of Amazon was sued by the American Jewish Committee for selling more than 50 Holocaust denial books or books that “trivialise” the Nazis. But it appears that the material has crept back on the site or been replaced by new volumes that have been accepted for sale.
A Kernel investigation into the extreme literature for sale on Amazon and Barnes & Noble has revealed a number of alarming publications that question the veracity the Holocaust for sale openly, prompting further questions about Amazon’s filtering policies.
Titles available for purchase on Amazon include The Synagogue of Satan, written by notorious Muslim anti-Semite Ashahed M. Muhammad. The book blames Judaism and the Jewish people for the slave trade and accuses them of “running” American and the international banking industry.
According to the publishers of Did Six Million Really Die?, the book reveals that “the Auschwitz Camp Museum has confessed that the “gas chamber” shown to tourists is fake”, that “original German architect plans of Auschwitz show no ‘gas chambers’”, that “forensic chemical examination of Auschwitz has disproved the use of Zyklon-B as a homicidal agent” and that “official Israeli and Polish university archaeological digs at Belzec, Chelmno and Sobibor have failed to find any evidence of ‘gas chambers’”.
The book also claims to show “how ‘eyewitness survivor’ memoirs, including that of Simon Wiesenthal, have been forged” and “why the story was made up”.
Conspiracy of the Six-Pointed Star promises “eye-opening revelations and forbidden knowledge about Rothschild, Israel, the Jews, and Zionism, and the hidden agenda that propels these evil forces. Greed, money, murder, and blood—these are the inflammable factors that motivate the elite, and you’ll find out just how horribly dark-hearted these Luciferian conspirators are”.
Another title, The Ruling Elite, is cagier about its contents. But the book’s subtitle is listed as The Zionist Seizure of World Power.
Other titles on sale include Die Akte Sobibor and The Myth of Extermination of the Jews.
These books can be found via search and purchased on Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk and, surprisingly, in many cases Amazon.de and Amazon.fr which together serve Austria, France and Germany, countries which have strong laws against Holocaust denial.
In 2005, pseudo-historian and Holocaust denier David Irving was imprisoned in Austria for a year and subsequently banned from ever re-entering the country for “trivialising, grossly playing down and denying the Holocaust”.
Did Six Million Really Die? and The Myth of Extermination of the Jews are not available in Germany or France but can be purchased in the US and UK and, if desired, shipped to those countries.
Ashahed M. Muhammad’s book does not deny the Holocaust per se, but another book also called The Synagogue of Satan contains explicit Holocaust denial and is on sale in France, while Inconvenient History, Volume II, which is by well-known Holocaust denier Carlo Mattogno and which also explicitly denies the veracity of the Holocaust, is available for sale from Amazon’s German site.
Unlike the slim self-published volumes of extreme pornography we exposed last week, many of the titles Amazon is selling which either deny the Holocaust or spread other anti-semitic lies purport to have established publishers. Publisher names include “History Behind Bars”.
Users on Twitter, most notably spy novelist Jeremy Duns, who expressed his alarm at finding the books openly for sale on social networking site Twitter, have pointed out that these books can be found by merely searching for books around the topics of the Holocaust, Judaism or Israel.
Holocaust denial is on the rise all over Europe, as the far-Right wins elections and parliamentary seats in Greece and Finland. Additionally the Freedom Party of Austria has 40 seats in the National Council. Neo-Nazi skinheads in Poland are also swelling in numbers.
Anti-semitism is also being more widely observed in mainstream commentators and Left-wing public intellectuals. Against this backdrop, it is appallingly lax of Amazon to stock material that gives succour to extremists, agitators and fantasists and which promotes anti-semitic pseudo-history.
In 2009, the Berlin director of the American Jewish Committee, Deidre Berger, told The Jewish Chronicle: ”It is unacceptable that books are for sale on Amazon.de that normally are only available under the counter in far-right extremist shops. We cannot let the spread of Internet sales erode laws that ban Holocaust denial and incitement to hatred of minorities in Germany.”
Holocaust denial is punishable in Germany by up to five years’ imprisonment.
Amazon had not responded to a request for comment as we went to press.
